Each of our rooms carries the quiet charm of a historic Finger Lakes home — original wood floors, century‑old room names, and furnishings that feel collected over time rather than decorated all at once. Some spaces have been gently restored, others lovingly preserved, but all share the same intention: to offer a calm, uncluttered place to rest.
The names come from the 1924 floor plans we uncovered during our work on the house: the Library on the first floor, and the Own Room and Guest Room upstairs. These rooms have held their names for well over a hundred years, and we’re proud to honor that history.
Inside, you’ll find thoughtfully chosen details — historic color palettes researched for restfulness, luxury bedding, cozy seating areas, and soft light that moves across the rooms throughout the day. Each room has its own private en suite bath, stocked with Hutton Farm Soaps handcrafted here on the property, along with our solid bar shampoo, plush towels, soft robes, hairdryers, discreet ironing essentials, and bedside charging stations.
We’ve added modern conveniences quietly: individually controlled mini‑split air conditioning, high‑speed Wi‑Fi, and entertainment options tailored to each room (our king rooms offer cable; our queen rooms feature Roku).
Sustainability is woven into your stay through refillable amenities, locally made quilts and draperies from Mennonite artisans, durable linens, and our own in‑house bath products designed to reduce waste.
What we hope you feel most is the quiet welcome of a house built more than a century ago — its structure honest, its rooms steady, its floorboards exhaling softly as history and modern comfort settle together in an easy, graceful balance.
