Oma's Suite

ROOM DESCRIPTION

German for grandma, this room honors all the Omas in our lives and the long line of doughty grandmothers who have lived in this house since the mid‑1800s. The space carries that unmistakable tenderness — the kind that feels like a grandmother’s hug — with antique furnishings that hold the comfort of well‑worn memories.

Oma’s Suite sits at the center of the house, marking the beginning of the Baileys’ 1924 expansion, and overlooks the quiet privacy of the side yard. Natural light filters through the leaves of a century‑old maple, drifting across the walls like a soft smile.

This intimate room features the second‑largest bathroom in the house, with period black‑and‑white tile, a unique console sink, and a full tub/shower. A walk‑in closet adds a touch of everyday ease.

Bedroom with quilted bed, white walls, ceiling fan, window curtains, and adjoining bathroom visible
