ROOM DESCRIPTION

This beautiful room tips our hat to Oscelia Hutton, the youngest of the Hutton daughters, whose quiet strength and independent spirit inspired its name. Active in Penn Yan’s women’s temperance efforts in the late 1800s, she carried herself with a kind of steady grace, and the room holds a whisper of that same calm resolve. Floor‑to‑ceiling windows open to an almost never‑ending view of the woods, filling the space with a soft, flattering light that shifts throughout the day. A charming antique settee and a small writing desk create a quiet corner for reflection, reading, or simply settling into the stillness of the room. The en suite bathroom offers a heated tile floor and a stand‑up shower, and a full‑size closet is tucked neatly away for your convenience.

Bright bedroom with a magenta bedspread, white-canopy window seat, teal walls, and exposed wood ceiling beams
