ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS
How do I redeem a Gift Certificate?
We only accept Gift Certificates purchased from our B&B (Finger Lakes Bed and Breakfast at Hutton Farm). Please include the Gift Certificate number if making the reservation via phone with the Innkeeper, failure to do so will result in your credit card automatically being charged. There is a $25 reprocessing fee.
What if I am running late for check-in?
Please call the Innkeeper @ (315) 536-8070 to make special arrangements.
What time is breakfast?
Enjoy our full breakfast at 9:00 am; coffee at 8:00 am. We sit the entire house together, family-style. We bake the main entree, which requires that we be reasonably punctual. Hence, please understand, if you arrive even 15 minutes late, you will disrupt our breakfast service, and your breakfast may be past the point of serving what we believe is acceptable and to our standards.
What if I can’t make breakfast but still want something to eat?
With a minimum 24-hour advanced notice, a brown bag “to-go” breakfast can be ready for you with different items ranging from muffins and hard-boiled eggs to homemade granola bars and an egg sandwich, with fresh fruit and water.
What qualifies for Holidays, Holiday Periods and Special Events?
For 2020, Holidays, Holiday Weeks and Special Events at Finger Lakes B&B include, but are not limited to: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
What is “book direct”?
Booking direct is when you make room reservations directly with the establishment, whether it’s through their website or on the phone. Quite often, you will receive better pricing when booking direct and be able to view specials and packages not available through OTA’s.
